Mission Statement
(Who we are, what we do, and what our intentions are)

Record pools have been in existence for well over twenty years now. A few have firmly taken hold of every possibility for improving their organization and level of performance. Others STILL say "Uh.....well......we've been doing it this way since 1984".

It's time to forget how things have been done and develop newer, faster, and more efficient ways of doing things. We here at MAD Promotions fully intend to be leaders in this arena, and not simply a follower.

The plan is to take today's technologies and those that will come in the next few years and use them to make ourselves create an impact not just locally, but on a national level. The plan is not to just be ahead of the curve, but to actually create new curves where others can only follow.

Initially, I had intended to work only dance product at this pool, and felt quite comfortable saying so. I have since decided that since I purchased "The Greater Baltimore Record Pool" from Dino Grier (my long time friend and partner) I should reposition what this pool will do and how we will market ourselves. I now find that there is a demand for a record pool based on trust and the love of the music in this market. We will be the pool with passion!

We will be a CROSSOVER Record Pool. I ran the Greater Baltimore Record Pool that way for over a decade and now that I have purchased the GBRP, I will bring that track record forward with me. We will continue to work  the Dance product and also work your Rhythm Crossover material with that same passion. We are the DJs in the clubs, not the streets, and want to be known as such. We are the entertainers, not the bootleggers! If you want to reach the people, we are the way to do it!

From the biggest and smallest clubs in Baltimore,  Harrisburg PA, Norfolk VA, and South Jersey to Wilmington Delaware radio, we will do everything we can to WORK your records.

The owner of this pool KNOWS promotions. Gary was voted by his peers, the promotion industry, as the "Best National Independent Record Promoter" for the year 2000 at the March, 2001 Winter Music Conference. And yes, again in 2002 for the year 2001.
